Indian Institute of Management Indore Admission to Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)

The Candidate must have:

i) A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline.

ii) A valid CAT /GMAT score

iii) Minimum 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation.

The programme is open to all nationalities.

Candidates seeking admission to the one-year EPGP programme of IIM-Indore (2011-12 batch) either have to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2010) or submit their GMAT score.

The GMAT score should have been obtained between Jan 1, 2008 and March 31, 2011. They will have to send in a separate application form which can be downloaded from our website www.iimidr.ac.in.

The completed application form along with the processing fee should reach IIM Indore on or before 16th May, 2011.

The application processing fee is Rs. 3500/- for resident Indians and U.S. $ 110/- for other nationals and non-resident Indians.

Please enclose a DD for the application-processing fee drawn in favor of “IIM Indore” payable at “Indore” along with the application.

Candidates applying through CAT 2010 have to mention their CAT Application Form number in the EPGP Application form. Candidates applying through GMAT have to submit their GMAT score along with the EPGP Application form.

Selection Process/Interview:

Interview of short listed candidates will be conducted at various locations depending on the number of candidates from that region.

Short-listing of candidates for interview will be done based on a number of criteria like CAT /GMAT score, Academic performance, work experience etc as decided by the admissions committee.

Selection & registering for the programme:

Candidates will be selected based on CAT /GMAT score, academic performance, achievements, performance in the interview, work experience etc as decided by the admissions committee. Selected candidates have to register for the programme in Sept 2011.

Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT-I) Admission to Ph.D. Programs 2011-12

Applications are invited for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme starting from July 2011 in the following disciplines:
1. Chemistry
2. Mathematics

For admission to the Ph.D. Programme in Engineering Disciplines, a candidate must satisfy one of the following criteria:

1. Masters degree in the relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
2. Masters degree in the relevant branch of Science with a valid GATE score.
3. B. Tech. degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0.
4. Bachelors degree in engineering or technology from any other Institute with a valid GATE score.

*Eligibility Committee will examine applications by candidates with foreign qualifications.

Ph.D in Sciences:
(Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics)

For admission to the Ph.D. Programme in Science Disciplines, a candidate must satisfy one of the following criteria:

1. M.Phil degree in relevant branch of science with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% marks.
2. Masters degree in a Science subject with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks with CSIR-JRF or NET; or UGC-JRF or NET.
3. Masters degree in relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
4. B.Tech. from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0.

*Eligibility Committee will examine applications by candidates with foreign qualification.

Ph.D in Economics, English and Philosophy:
(Economics, English and Philosophy)

For admission to the Ph.D. Programme in Economics, English and Philosophy, a candidate must satisfy one of the following criteria:

1. M.Phil degree in relevant discipline of Arts or Commerce
2. Masters degree in Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent with UGC-JRF or NET.
3. Masters degree in Science/Engineering/Agriculture/Environmental Science/ International Business with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% marks with UGC-JRF or NET may be considered for research areas
consistent with the academic background and special interests.
4. B.Tech. from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0.

*Eligibility Committee will examine applications by candidates with foreign qualification.

Duly completed Application Form should be submitted by post in one envelope. Application materials can be downloaded from institute website www.iiti.ac.in

1. Please do NOT attach any photocopies of the certificates. Originals should be brought at the time of interview.

2. There is NO application fees. Filled in application forms should be sent to the Convener, Ph.D. Admissions, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, M-Block, IET, DAVV Campus, Khandwa Road, Indore, 452017, M.P., to reach on or before April 15, 2011.

Candidates should send the completed application in one envelope and on top of it write: `Application for Ph.D. admission in the Discipline of _________` . Candidates applying for more than one discipline should submit a separate application for each discipline.
