University of Delhi Admission Ayurvedic and Unani Medicines

Applications are invited for admission to Post Graduate Degree Course in Ayurvedic and Unani Medicines for the following disciplines

Candidates must have completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotatory internship after passing the BUMS/BAMS examination from the University of Delhi on or before 31st March, 2011 and must have full registration with the State Council Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines/CCIM.

Candidates must have passed BUMS/BAMS or equivalent examination from other University established by Law and recognised by the University of Delhi and CCIM and have also completed one year or six months internship in a recognised Hospital on or before 31st March, 2011 and must have full registration with the State Council/Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines/CCIM.

The candidates may obtain Bulletin of Information (BOI) and Application Form from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 by submitting/sending a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque of 1000.00 in person and by post 1050.00 for GEN / OBC and 800.00 in person and by post of 850.00 for SC/ST/PH drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi from 02-05-2011 onwards on all working days upto 25-05-2011.

(Legal Size / A3 Paper) and the same may be sent to the Deputy Registrar (Medical), Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th floor V.P. (a) The candidate should have passed or have appeared in March/April 2010 in Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.

(b) The candidate should secure an aggregate of at least 60% marks in his/her XII class examination (55% for SC, ST, CW and PC categories) in four papers including English and Mathematics. The other two papers are to be selected from the following list: Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.

(c) The candidate should have obtained pass mark in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate in the above mentioned subjects.

(d) The candidate must submit the Class 12 marks on the form provided online, latest by 14 June 2010.

(e) The candidate must produce the confirmed result and marksheet of the qualifying examination on the day of the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to be eligible for the process of admission to the BBS and BFIA courses. Candidates who do not have the confirmed mark sheet will not be entertained under any circumstances.
In the case of a student seeking admission to the B.A. (Honours) Business Economics course the confirmed result and marksheet of the qualifying examination must be produced on the day of the counseling.(f) The reserved category certificates of OBC (of Central List & non creamy layer), SC, ST, PC, and CW, as applicable, in the name of the candidate, must be produced:

On the day of the interview and group discussion (for BBS and BFIA)
On the day of counseling (for B.A.(Hons.) Business Economics)

(g) Compartment cases of current year will not be considered for admission.

(h) Candidates who have appeared in the class XII examination in 2010 and who repeat a paper for improvement to gain eligibility shall not be considered for admission in the current year.

(i) Foreign nationals seeking admission to BBS, BFIA and B.A.(Hons) Business Economics course(s) against the prescribed quota of seats earmarked for them, shall have to apply through the Foreign Students Advisor, C/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110 007 and are exempted from the written examination, Group Discussion and Interview.

(j) Those foreign students who have acquired their minimum qualification for admission from any Indian Board, in India have to apply directly as General category candidate. They have to appear for the entrance test like general category candidates and follow the same selection process as applicable to general category and in addition fill up the foreign student application form of FSR office (downloadable from: http://www.du.ac.in/forms/foreignstudents1.pdf). All admission of foreign students are channeled through the Foreign Students Registry (FSR) office of University of Delhi.

You require the following things in order to apply:

1. A working and valid Email ID. This will be your login name. You will also receive information on this Email ID. You may choose any password.

2. The scanned digital copy of a recent passport size colour photograph.

3. Class 12 marksheet in case you have passed the examination. Class 12 Roll Number in case your result is awaited.

4. Debit/Credit card in case you wish to make online payment.

5. A mobile phone number is desirable. Notice will also be sent through sms on the mobile phone if you so desire.

For SC/ST/CW:

Delhi University Faculty of Law LL.M. Entrance Test 2011

LLB Degree (3 year/5 year course) with 50% marks for General and OBC candidates.

Relaxation of up to 5% marks for PH and 45% marks for SC/ST/CW candidates.

Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying degree examination are eligible to appear in the Entrance Test but admission will depend on minimum eligibility prescribed above.

The reservation of seats is made as per the University rules.

Bulletin of information with application form may be obtained from the office of the Admission Committee, Faculty of Law from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. from April 4, 2011 on deposit of Bank Draft of Rs.700.00 (Rs.250.00 for SC/ST candidates) in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

Request for application & Bulletin by post may be made to Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 by sending Bank Draft of Rs.750.00 (Rs. 300.00 for SC/ST candidates) not later than 16th May, 2011.

The application form can also be downloaded from www.du.ac.in and should be deposited along with a bank draft of Rs.700.00 (Rs.250.00 for SC/ST candidates).

The duly tilled application form can be submitted from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days and up to 5.00 p.m. on May 16“', 2011 or may be sent by registered post to Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 so as to reach on or before May 12", 2011.
